About Me

Ben Brandon was born and raised in Pepperell, MA. He became engaged in music when he was just in fourth grade, playing trombone in the school band. It wasn’t long before music became his passion. He let this passion guide his path to the Lamont School of Music at the University of Denver, where he’s currently studying low brass performance.

Ben’s played in many ensembles ranging from school bands to state honor bands and local professional groups. He’s played all over the world, including Germany, France, England, Switzerland, and several states across the US. He currently holds the spot of principal Euphonium in the Lamont Wind Ensemble.

In addition to his musical endeavours, Ben is very active in the DU community. He is currently a starting player on the DU Rugby Club. He’s also a co-founder and administrator of the fitness group, Mile High Muscle.

Ben’s goal is to one day conduct the Boston Pops, a long time favorite group that he grew up watching. This would be a great way for him to share his passion and musical ideas with people all over the world, and hopefully inspire people to do the same.
